Payment
All prices for products and shipping are in US dollars. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Your credit card will be billed for the amount of your purchase plus the exact shipping charges. We do accept payment by paypal, if you click on this option, you will be redirected into the paypal site. Personal checks from US banks are accepted, but will be held for clearance prior to your order being shipped.
Shipping to US States, Virgin Islands, and US Territories
Most orders will be packaged and shipped within 1-3 business days. Occasionally, we are so busy that we have a longer turn around time, and we will try to notify you if there is a delay. WE ALWAYS BILL YOU THE EXACT SHIPPING CHARGES. (We do not inflate your cost by adding additional shipping & handling fees). Fabric will be wrapped securely in plastic bags to keep it protected during shipping. Unless otherwise requested, we will ship by USPS priority mail or UPS ground. Smaller orders that fit into the "flat rate envelopes and boxes" are shipped by USPS. Larger orders will be shipped by UPS, as it is more economical. The table below estimates shipping charges, however due to variances in the weight and price of fabric and other supplies, the actual cost may be higher or lower. If it is significantly higher than the estimate, we will email you prior to billing your credit card. Usually, the actual shipping is lower than the estimate.
Shipping to Canada and Mexico
When you place your order, you will see a "Shipping Preference" button. You must click on "USPS Global Priority Mail (International)". If you click on the "USA orders" option, your shipping estimate will be incorrect.
We have found that the Global Priority Mail flat rate envelopes work best. We can always fit 5 yards of cotton or flannel into the large envelope (we can often fit a lot more, depending on type of fabric, if you ordered a book, pattern, or notion, etc.) The large envelope costs $9.95 to Canada/Mexico. A regular size Global Priority Flat Rate Box costs $23.95, and a large size Global Priority Flat Rate Box costs $29.95. Basically, we will do our best to ship your order as inexpensively as possible. You are only charged the exact shipping. When you "check out" after shopping, the website will give you an "estimate" of shipping. This is subject to change, depending on what you ordered. We will contact you if the actual shipping charges are significantly higher than the estimate. Usually, it is lower than the estimate.
